Maria Colleran’s new puppy had made a serious mess in her bedroom down in Dundrum. We had no trouble removing the stains and making her bedroom smell great again.

Zuzanna’s stairs had seen much better days in Howth. It was definitely a big test for us, but as you can see we got there in the end, with all dark stains removed successfully.

What our customers say

I’m very happy. Quick replies and I was able to book same day service. The price was great and they were very honest. The supervisor told me I’d be better off changing the rug, as it was too far gone, rather than just taking my money. Highly recommended service.

We’re Rated as the Number One Carpet Cleaning Company in Dublin

We are firm believers that bright, clean rooms containing clean and fresh smelling carpets, rugs, curtains and upholstery are energising and uplifting.

However we’re also aware of how difficult it is to keep your carpets or rug clean. This gets especially difficult if you have pets or children in your home. We love our kids and animals, but they sure are messy sometimes!

We started our company (a family business) because we couldn’t find a reliable domestic or effective commercial carpet cleaning service that charged fair prices and was reliable.

We always arrive on time. We work quickly and efficiently. We treat your home or business with the utmost respect. We never use any hidden charges or other dodgy sales tactics. We are always upfront about the price and exactly what you’ll get.

To help protect your family we also only use eco-friendly, family safe and non-toxic list of cleaning products and solutions.

For over 33 years we have been serving the homes and businesses of Ireland. Whether you need us to clean your carpets, upholstery, rugs, curtains, mattresses or leather sofas, we promise to do a top-quality job every single time. What we don’t know about carpet cleaning isn’t worth knowing!

The prices that certain rug cleaning companies are charging nowadays is outrageous. We promise to keep our prices fair and affordable. With many thousands of satisfied clients throughout the city and county, our quality speaks for itself. Simply check our reviews on our website to hear exactly why we’re one of the top services.

We Also Offer Top Class Area Rug and Upholstery Cleaning

The core of any company’s success is its employees. Many rug cleaning services rely on outsourced contractors to clean your home for them. We NEVER do this. We use our own employees to guarantee 5-star service and make sure they are trained to the very highest standards.

In fact, our hiring process is the strictest of any rug or upholstery cleaning service in Dublin. We only accept 1% of applicants.

We also hire rug cleaners for attitude and not aptitude. We can teach our employees everything they need to know but we can’t teach people to have a top-class work ethic and pride in their work!

After choosing a few top tier applicants we put them through our intensive training course. Here they learn everything they will need to know to excel at their job and please their clients.

We can’t give away too many details about our training but needless to say, we are constantly producing technicians that are not just excellent at cleaning but also able to deliver top tier service. We are proud of every member of our team as we know the important part they play in any company’s overall success.

Due to the way we train our staff, we never have to watch over them or do spot checks on their work! This is how are the best carpet cleaning the city has to offer.

    Rely on Industry Leaders

CarpetCleanerDublin.com can give you the very deepest stains and odour removal from any materials including carpets, rugs, upholstery, leather, mattresses and curtains.

To make sure that we are always at the cutting edge of carpet cleaning machine technology, we are constantly updating our machinery. This is a very expensive thing to do, but it allows us to stay one step of our competitors. Combine our commercial-grade equipment with best in class detergents, products and solutions and add 22 years of experience into the mix, and it’s obvious why we are the industry-leading carpet cleaners.

Going Above and Beyond Other Carpet Cleaning Services

We firmly believe that by focusing on the very smallest details we can set ourselves apart. We give you our full focus and attention from the very first moment that you visit our website or make contact with us.

Our website is easy to use, offering all the information you need to make an informed decision on hiring carpet cleaners.

When you call us, our staff and technicians are friendly and helpful and more than willing to answer any questions you have. We’re always happy to offer impartial advice and there’s never any obligation on you to buy. We never use high-pressure sales tactics.

This level of client attention continues right through to the very end of the process when we are packing up and leaving your home or business. This is why we are truly second to none in the carpet cleaning Dublin business.

    Ease of Use

Time is the most precious commodity. That’s why we always focus on saving our customers time and hassle. That’s why we’ve built a client focused, sleek, online pricing and booking system. No matter where you are, you can quickly and easily book your best-in-class upholstery cleaning or hire us to clean your carpets, rugs, mattress, sofa, or couch!

What to Expect When We Arrive

Before we start any cleaning we’ll always properly inspect your carpets and upholstery. We need to analyse the level of uncleanliness to give you an idea if your carpet can be cleaned and what type of results to expect. We can clean almost any material and have taken carpets that looked dead, back to looking brand new. On very rare occasions the damage or soiling can be so severe that even we can’t get it back to perfect. We will of course let you know before we start if this might be the case.

If you’ve decided on what service you want, then call our family business experts today on 01 912 0344 and we’ll take care of all the rest.

    Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost to have a carpet professionally cleaned?

Typically the average price per room is between €30-€50. However, the final price will depend on these factors: the specific type of carpet, what type of stains are present and what caused them, any extra treatments needed, if items need to be removed from or moved around the room, whether there is suitable parking and whether there is lift access or not.

You can call us today on 01 912 0344 for your free no-obligation quote.

Is it worth getting carpets professionally cleaned?

Carpets always look and feel amazing when they are freshly installed. However, after a while, they can become dirty and start to look tired. You can take care of your carpets by vacuuming regularly, not wearing shoes while walking on them or applying protection products. But no matter what you do, your carpets will never look quite as good as the day they were bought.

The only way to get that is to hire us and our high powered commercial-grade steam cleaning machines. The steam they generate is able to penetrate deep into the fabric and remove all the stubborn dirt, grease, grime, dander, dust mites, allergens (to improve air quality) and even odours from your carpets and rugs.

That’s why it’s always worth hiring a trusted professional carpet cleaning company like us with the expertise to bring your carpet and upholstery back to their former glory.

Who offers the best upholstery and carpet cleaning services?

Well we are of course going to be biased, but we firmly believe that we are the best carpet cleaning company in the area. Our techniques are unique in many ways. Whoever you choose, it’s important they have a solid reputation backed up with decades of experience, full insurance cover to keep you, your family and your home safe, top-class customer service, strong money-back or satisfaction guarantee and verified testimonials from other happy customers.

Guess who has all of the things on this list! That’s right, Carpet Cleaner Dublin does. So call for your 100% free quote today.

How often should upholstery, rug and carpet be professionally cleaned?

The most common interval for hiring carpet cleaning services is 12 months. However, we have many clients who hire us every 6 months and even those that use our services every 3 months.

How often you hire us to clean will depend on a number of important factors such as how much traffic the carpet receives and the specific material that it’s made from. Those with strong allergies also benefit from very regular professional rug cleaning.

We offer discounts on certain services and have special offers for clients who wish to avail of our services on a more regular basis.

Is professional upholstery or carpet cleaning better than doing it yourself?

Absolutely! To remove stains from your carpet, sofa or 3 piece suite correctly you absolutely need a machine that’s fit for the job and cleaners who know what they are doing.

You can’t rent these machines yourself and even if you could, you wouldn’t have the training and knowledge required to use them and get the best results. The carpet cleaning machines you buy in hardware stores are only suitable for the very lightest of dirt and stains.

The only machine for the job is our 200 PSI, hot water extraction steam cleaning machines. They are powerful but gentle on even the most delicate of fabrics and materials. There are almost no stains or dirt that our methods can’t eliminate. Further to that our service also comes with a guarantee of results or your money back. What more could you ask for?

Is it better to shampoo or steam clean carpets and area rugs?

In almost every case, it is better to use steam cleaning machines, exactly like the ones that we use. Shampooing is sometimes used over an extremely large area on a carpet that has seen an extremely large amount of foot traffic and dirt build-up. But even then with the correct pre-treatment and agitation beforehand, a high-quality steam cleaning machine and qualified technician will be able to get the exact same results. Of course, it also kills 99.99% of germs, bacteria and pests even going so far as to kill any eggs they’ve laid. This is why steam is especially effective on mattresses. Steam is also just hot water and so requires no nasty chemicals that might harm your family or pets.

Finally as the steam is sucked back out with an incredibly powerful force, your carpets are left with very little moisture in them and so they will dry much faster.

Shampooing your carpet or rug comes with many drawbacks including the need for extremely large, expensive and awkward machines. If an inexperienced operator uses too much water then the back padding will become damaged and it can take anywhere up to 48 hours for your carpet to be dry enough to walk on.  Get in touch for your free quote on any of our services..

The Best of the Best Carpet Cleaners in the Area!

How Can I Verify My Carpet Cleaning Service?

There’s an extremely dramatic difference between the various upholstery cleaning and rug cleaners in the area. Many are simply looking for a quick buck and it shows. Others often don’t have the skills required. It’s imperative that you do your research and only choose professional cleaners that pay attention to quality and customer service. With that said, here are a few pointers to help you:

Fast Replies to Emails and Calls: We believe that how a carpet cleaner does one thing is how they do everything. If they are slow in replying to your messages then they will likely do a poor job on your upholstery and rugs too.

Check the Business Address: Every legitimate company will have a visible address on their website (ours is clearly stated at the end of every page). Also you should make sure that it’s operated from an office and not from a house either. Be very concerned if a service is trying to hide its address or company name.

Knowledgeable and Experienced: When you are talking to them do you they sound as if they know what they are doing? You can really tell a lot by how quickly and succinctly a person can answer your questions. If they are humming and hawing it’s likely they don’t have the experience necessary.

Clear Pricing: A lot of companies will give rough figures on their website and then change them when they arrive, citing various excuses such as ‘Your home is bigger than we thought” or ‘Your carpets are more soiled than we were lead to believe”. This behaviour is extremely common and highly unprofessional. At our company, the price you are quoted is the final price you will pay. We have no hidden fees.

Do Carpet Cleaners Have Proper Insurance?

The answer to this is a resounding yes! In fact if you call or email us, we will be happy to show you a copy of our policy and policy number which you can then use to verify the details with our insurance company. Our insurance coverage is a combined policy with employer’s liability and public liability. And we are covered to a whopping 2.6 million euro! So no matter what happens you, your family, your home or your business are 100% fully protected. However please be aware that many unscrupulous operators have no insurance cover at all and if something gets damaged in your home, these fly by night companies will simply stop answering your calls and emails and you’ll never get reimbursed.

Read Reviews and Testimonials From Past Clients

It’s important to not just look at comments left on a company’s website, but also to look at independent review sites like Facebook and Google. Reviews left on Google are much more likely to be real. The internet is awash with fake reviews nowadays but Google is extremely good at weeding out fake ones. No matter what company you look at you are likely to find a few bad ones here and there. Unfortunately, every service drops the balls from time to time. More important is to look at the response of the carpet cleaning service, did they offer a refund, did they move immediately to fix the issues for the client, were they apologetic or did they get aggressive?

We also advise looking at the 4-star reviews as well as they are almost always the most accurate and most likely to be from real customers. To take this one step further, you can call us and we will give you the phone numbers of past clients who have agreed to be contacted. Then you can hear straight from the horse’s mouth about how great our service truly is.

By speaking directly with past clients and customers you can find out exactly what the experience was like.

How can I find a good upholstery, rug and carpet cleaning service in Dublin?

    1) The first thing to look for is trustworthiness. Make sure you do proper research and find a trusted and reliable company to clean your carpeting. Ask for references and contact details of previous customers.

    2) Make sure the teams are highly experienced. Find out how long has the company been in operation and what type of training the staff have undergone. All of our technicians are qualified and experienced.

    3) Is there a guarantee? Make sure that there is a money-back or re-clean guarantee if you are not happy with your results. All reputable services will happily come back out to fix any issues or missed areas.

    4) Flexible scheduling is a must. Our operators take calls and emails form 8AM – 8PM 7 days a week and we clean carpeting 7 days a week as well. We are always willing to work around your busy schedule.

    5) Proper equipment for the job. We are always upgrading our machines to ensure the very highest standards of service for our clients. We only buy top of the range, commercial-grade vacuums and hot water extraction steam cleaners. We also pay more for eco-friendly, non-toxic cleaning solutions, to keep your family safe.

    6) Fully insured service. Give yourself peace of mind that if your home is damaged you’ll be fully reimbursed or if someone gets hurt while working in your home or business, that you won’t need to pay anything.

How Will You Spend Your Free Time?

After you book your carpet cleaning service, you’ll instantly feel more relaxed like a weight has been lifted off your mind. Let us take care of you. Go and spend time with your family and friends. Here’s a list of restaurants and attractions that we highly recommend.

    1) Clanbrassil House

This mid-priced restaurant hasn’t been open for many years, but it has very quickly developed a very loyal following amongst Dubliners. It’s quite compact but has a cosy inviting feel to it. It’s characterised by high tables and exposed brick walls. The menu has quite a range of excellent options including homemade sausage and a wide range of top-quality beef dishes. If you enjoy grilled food then you need to get down here ASAP.

    2) The Greenhouse

Only a few short years after opening, The Greenhouse was able to win itself a Michelin star. As you would expect it’s not easy to get a reservation as the demand is just so high. Despite this though, the prices are very reasonable for the immense quality of the dishes. Its location is excellent, right in the middle of all the action. All the food is also presented immaculately.

    3) Mr. Fox

Strangely this is still a relatively unknown restaurant. However, it has a stellar reputation amongst everyone who has eaten there so far. We’d go as far as saying it’s the best place to eat right now. It has an extremely limited menu but this allows the chefs to put even more effort into creating extremely tasty dishes. There’s a strong emphasis on only using the very best ingredients and they are all locally sourced.

    4) Chapter One

Chapter One is easily the most expensive restaurant on this list and you’ll have to book a table well in advance. But if you can only have one meal in the city then this is the place to buy it. It’s extremely fancy and absolutely at the peak of fine dining in the city. If you aren’t able to break the bank but still want to enjoy this wonderful restaurant then opt for the lunch menu.

    5) Michael’s

This is another brilliant spot that seems to have its own special cult following. There are very good reasons for this, however. The seafood is to die for and they have a particularly high-quality wine list. There are no bad options on the menu here either.

    6) Fade Street Social

The part of the city where this restaurant is situated always has a great vibe, especially during the summer months. Outdoor seating adds an even more wonderful experience. The food served here is best described as contemporary European with, at first glance, a strange combination of ingredients. But trust us the food here is incredible.

    7) Pi Pizza

After you’ve tried the pizza here you’ll understand exactly why there’s always a long line of people waiting to get seated. Thankfully, you can grab a beer and relax while you wait. As you can expect the ingredients are all of the highest quality. Also rather surprisingly, they have an excellent selection of unique desserts to try too.

    8) Bunsen

The prices of the burgers at Bunsen are outrageously low for how incredible they taste. All the burgers are hand made fresh ever morning along with the fries. The burgers are always cooked to perfection, with plenty of juice flowing. They only make burgers and they are easily the very best in the city at it.

    9) Featherblade

No list of the best restaurants would be complete without a top class steakhouse. The old classic cuts are always available but Featherblade also has many unusual creations using lesser known cuts. The menu is always changing which is refreshing. The side dishes are also quite unique and not to be overlooked.

    10) Etto

A typical cosy restaurant that is tucked away in a classy part of town. The menu can change day to day here so you may not get the same dishes twice. But we can guarantee you’ll be raving about the food to anyone who will listen. The prices are also incredibly good and the desserts are especially moreish.

    1) Temple Bar

Everyone knows about this popular area of Dublin. If you are new to the city then it should be one of your very first stops. But the centre of it all and the most iconic pub in Ireland is of course the bright red Temple Bar. This is where you’ll find a full on mix of Irish culture complete with traditional music and walking tours.

    2) Guinness Storehouse

Just a few short years ago in 2015, this attraction was the voted the most popular in all of Europe and when you visit, it’s easy to see why. You will learn everything you wanted to know about Ireland’s favourite drink and the world’s favourite stout. A truly fantastic time for Irish people and foreign visitors alike.

    3) The Little Museum of Dublin

Commonly referred to as ‘The People’s Museum’, this museum will bring  you on a trip down memory lane showing you what the city was like through the last few hundred years. The items have all been donated by Dubliners themselves and so it makes for a very personal and intimate outing.

    4) EPIC

EPIC has won many travel awards across the world for its depiction of something ingrained into the fabric of the Irish people. Emigration. Read the stories of many different Irish emigrants who left Ireland to seek their fortune and find better lives. You’ll be surprised at how many people left and how many people claim Irish ancestry to this day.

    5) Malahide Castle

This 12th century castle was once the home of the Talbots, a very powerful family. The castle is filled with historical paintings and sculptures and there is plenty to see. It’s one of the most important buildings in Ireland from a historical perspective.

    6) Trinity College

Trinity College is very well respected on an international level and has produced some very famous writers. Built back in 1592 it was modeled on Oxford and still maintains that look and feel to this day. The grounds are sprawling and very relaxing to walk through. The Book of Kells is also on display here.

    7) Old Jameson Distillery

If you are a fan of whiskey then you are in for a real treat. You’ll be brought on a guided tour detailing exactly how whiskey was and still is made and distilled. Making whiskey was once Dublin’s largest industry. Afterwards, relax and enjoy some Jameson whiskey.

    8) Dublinia

Dublinia will bring you on a whirlwind tour of the city through the ages. Learn about the earliest Viking settlers, how the city looked in the Middle Ages and much more. It’s exciting and fun and is sure to give you a different perspective on Ireland as it is today.

    9) Dublin Castle

Built in the early 13th century this castle sits on a sprawling site of over 10 acres. We highly recommend going on one of the guided tours. It will give you a detailed history of the castle and its inhabitants with some fascinating insights. There are also countless museums inside all covering different aspects of this Castle’s history.

    10) Brazen Head

This pub is iconic, not just for being the oldest one in Ireland, but also because of its former patrons which included the likes of Michael Collins and Daniel O’Connell. As you would expect there is a very wide range of beers and ales on tap with tasty food served daily. A great place to relax after spending the day touring the other places on our list!
